Specifications
- Type: oversized spindown D20, twenty-sided
- Origin: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Bundle
- Larger than a regular spindown
- Own design in the TMNT theme
What makes a spindown different
On a regular D20, the numbers are arranged randomly, so that a roll is fair. On a spindown, they're arranged in order: 20, 19, 18 and so on, spiraling around the die. That way, you turn to the next number in a single motion — exactly what you want when you're counting down your life total. For random rolls, it's actually less suitable.
Why this one is different
Wizards includes one oversized spindown in every Bundle, and the Pizza Bundle got its own version, different from the one in the regular TMNT Bundle. At the table, the larger size is nice to have — you can read it from across the table. You'll rarely come across it on its own, since it only came in that box.
The box it comes from is the Pizza Bundle; the regular version is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle.
Other spindowns in the shop include those from Magic Origins, Ixalan, Shadows over Innistrad and Theros Beyond Death.
