Why acid-free and PVC-free
Soft PVC releases plasticizers over the years that make cards dull and sticky, and acidic cardboard yellows the edges. Everything Ultra Pro uses in this line has been tested for that. For cards you want to keep for ten years, that's the difference that matters.
Binder or ring binder
This is a bound binder: the ten pages are fixed, so you can't add to them. That makes it thinner and lighter than a ring binder, and there's nothing that can spring open. Want to expand later or reorder pages? Then you need a ring binder — that's available too, with a zipper around it.
Why double sleeving
Double sleeved means a thin inner sleeve around the card, with the regular sleeve around that. That also protects the bottom edge, which stays open with a single sleeve. The 180 cards this binder holds are sized for that thickness — with single sleeves, they'll fit more loosely.
