Why 64 and not 65
Western sleeve packs contain 65, Japanese ones 64 — a difference that comes purely from each market's own convention. A deck holds 60 cards either way, so you're left with a few spares regardless. Just keep in mind that Japanese sleeves are sized for Japanese cards, which are a fraction smaller than Western ones.
What makes Premium Gloss different
The Premium Gloss finish has a shiny outer surface, which makes the colors read deeper and really lights up the crystal effect of a Terastal Pokémon. The trade-off: glossy sleeves cling to each other slightly more when shuffling than matte ones. If you want a deck that shuffles smoothly, a matte or PRO finish is more practical; if you want your deck to stand out on the table, this is the right choice.
What Terastal is
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Pokémon in the Paldea region can Terastallize: they get a crystal crown and change type. A Gyarados is normally Water and Flying; as a Terastal Pokémon it can suddenly become something completely different, and on these sleeves that crystal effect is the whole design.
What sleeves are for
Sleeves protect your cards from fingerprints, moisture and damaged edges, and let a deck shuffle more smoothly. At tournaments they're effectively required: every back in your deck has to look identical, so no one can tell which card you're holding from the back.
