What a Pokémon coin is for
In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, many attacks and Trainer cards have effects that only trigger if you flip heads. That's what you need a coin for, and one comes standard in every theme deck, every collection, and every blister pack. Officially licensed coins are allowed at tournaments; an ordinary euro coin isn't.
About Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant is a Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Violet: a creature from the distant future that looks like Gardevoir and Gallade merged into one machine-like fighter. Paradox Pokémon can only be caught in the Area Zero region, which already makes them special within the games.
Why collectors buy loose coins
Each coin belongs to one specific product and is never reissued afterward. Anyone who wants to complete a series has to buy them separately — which is exactly why they're listed here on their own. For players, it's simply a coin that works better for the game than a coin from your pocket.
Other loose coins in the shop include the ones featuring Sirfetch'd, Gigantamax Charizard, Quaxly, Eevee, Fuecoco, Cetoddle, Fidough, Pawmi, and Pikachu in gold.
