What a Pokémon coin is for
In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, many attacks and Trainer cards have effects that only happen if you flip heads. That's what a coin is for, and one comes standard with every theme deck, every collection, and every blister pack. Officially licensed coins are allowed at tournaments; a regular euro coin is not.
About Eevee
Eevee is the Pokémon with the most unstable DNA of them all: it can evolve in eight different directions, from Vaporeon to Sylveon. That makes it, after Pikachu, the face that shows up most often on merchandise and special editions.
