What a Pokémon coin is for
In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, many attacks and Trainer cards have effects that only happen if you flip heads. That's what a coin is for, and one comes standard in every theme deck, every collection, and every blister pack. Officially licensed coins are tournament legal; a regular coin from your pocket isn't.
About Sirfetch’d
Farfetch’d walked around for twenty-five years carrying a leek and never evolving. In the Galar region it finally got one: Sirfetch’d, a knight with a leek for a lance and a leaf for a shield. This coin comes from the theme deck named after it and has the standard finish.
Why single coins get collected
Each coin belongs to one specific product and never gets reissued afterward. Anyone building a complete set has to buy them separately — which is exactly why they're listed here on their own. For players, it's simply a coin that works better for the game than a coin from your wallet.
Other single coins in the shop include the ones with Gigantamax Charizard, Quaxly, Eevee, Fuecoco, Cetoddle, Iron Valiant, Fidough, Pawmi, and gold Pikachu. There's also a gold version of Sirfetch’d from Silver Tempest.
