What Midnight Agent was
A campaign in spy style: the Pokémon as secret agents, with movie-poster-like artwork. Alongside Inteleon, Sylveon, Gengar and Greninja also took part. The series ran in February 2023, only at the Japanese Pokémon Centers and in limited numbers — watches, figures, t-shirts, bags and these sleeves.
Why 64 and not 65
Western sleeve packs contain 65, Japanese ones 64 — a difference that simply comes down to the habits of the two markets. Either way a deck has 60 cards, so you're left with a few spares regardless. Japanese Pokémon sleeves fit standard-size Pokémon TCG cards (63 × 88 mm), regardless of the card's language.
About Inteleon
Inteleon is the final evolution of Sobble from the Galar region, and the only starter designed as a sniper: it shoots water from its fingertips with rifle-like precision, and has a membrane that lets it glide down from heights. For a spy theme, it's the obvious choice.
What sleeves are for
Sleeves protect your cards from fingerprints, moisture and damaged edges, and they let a deck shuffle more smoothly. At tournaments they're effectively mandatory: every card back in your deck has to look identical, so no one can tell which card you're holding from the back.
Another glossy pack is the one with Umbreon in the Moonlight finish. For Greninja, there's the matte PRO finish.
