What makes PRO different
The regular Deck Shield is glossy; the PRO version has a finish that lets the sleeves glide past each other instead of sticking together. That makes a noticeable difference when shuffling, which is why players who compete in a lot of tournaments choose this line. Otherwise the same dimensions and the same 64 pieces apply.
Why 64 and not 65
Western sleeve packs contain 65, Japanese ones 64 — a difference that comes purely from habit in the two markets. A deck holds 60 cards either way, so you'll have a few spares left over regardless. Japanese Pokémon sleeves fit standard-size Pokémon TCG cards (63 × 88 mm), regardless of the card's language.
About Greninja
Greninja is the final evolution of Froakie from the Kalos region: a ninja frog that compresses water into shurikens and throws them mid-leap. In 2020 he won the worldwide vote for most popular Pokémon of all time — out of all 890 that existed at the time.
What sleeves are for
Sleeves protect your cards from fingerprints, moisture and damaged edges, and they let a deck shuffle more smoothly. At tournaments they're effectively mandatory: every card back in your deck has to look identical, so no one can tell which card you're holding from the back.
Another Japanese design is Crayon Mimikyu. For Western sleeves there's Stellar Tera Pikachu.
