Artist: Nino is
Card Strengths and Weaknesses:
Hand Disruption: Allows you to look at an opponent's hand and force them to discard a nonland card. Useful Against Combo or Control decks.
Board Presence: AMASS ORCS 2 Helps You Establish or Enhance Your Board Presence by Either beef up an existing army token or creating a new one.
Cost: AT 4 Mana, the card is somewhat exensive for the effects it provides.
Sorcery Speed: Being a sorcery, you can't use this to disrupt your opponent's plans on their turn.
Deck Utility:
Control decks: Could find a place in Control decks Looking for both Hand Disruption and some Board Presence.
Orc Tribal: Fits well in an orc or army tribal deck, where the amass mechanic would be more synergy.
Hand Disruption: Can be included in decks that aim to deplete the opponent's resources.
Overall Analysis:
The Torment of Gollum is a flexible card that combines hand disruption with board development. The 4-mana cost is a bit high for what it does, but the dual nature of the card could it a valuable addition to certain types of decks, particularly those build orcs or the amass mechanic. While Not Overhelmingly Powerful, its utility Could Make it a good fit in a deck looking for both or thesis aspects.
