About Graded Pokémon Cards

A graded card sits in a sealed, clear case (a slab) from a grading company, with a number that rates its condition. You know exactly what you're buying, and the card is protected straight away. Every card on this page shows the grading company, such as PSA, BGS or CGC, and the grade.

Graded or raw?

For many cards on this page you choose between a raw card and a graded copy in the variant picker, for example "PSA 9". If the graded version is sold out, the raw card is often still available, and vice versa.

What do the grades mean?

PSA, Beckett (BGS) and CGC grade cards on a scale from 1 to 10. Beckett also gives subgrades for centering, corners, edges and surface. A 10 is a (virtually) flawless card; a 9 is a card in excellent shape with at most one minor flaw. So always compare grades within the same grading company.

Want to grade your own cards?

Our blog post on getting Pokémon cards graded explains how it works. Slabs are packed carefully; EU shipping is free from €75, and you can also pick up your order at our shop in Enkhuizen. Looking for cards without a slab? Browse our Pokémon singles.
