What a deckbox is for

A deck of sixty sleeved cards held together with an elastic band is a deck that sooner or later ends up on the floor. A deckbox keeps it together, protects the edges and fits in a bag. Japanese deckboxes are more compact than western ones because they're sized for the slightly smaller Japanese cards — western cards in double sleeves make for a tight fit.

About the Eeveelutions

Eevee is the Pokémon with an unstable genetic makeup, and that's the whole source of its appeal: it can currently evolve into eight different Pokémon, each of a different type. A Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Moss Rock, Ice Rock, friendship by day, friendship by night, or learning a Fairy-type move — every route leads to a different outcome. On this box, they're all running together at once.

Why this box is so sought after

Tag Team GX: Tag All Stars is a Japanese set from 2019, and its matching accessories have never been reprinted. For a deckbox, this is a considerable amount, and that's not because of the cardboard — it's because there simply aren't many left.

The matching sleeves from the Eevee Dash! series are sold separately. Among the individual Eeveelutions, there are sleeves with Leafeon and Glaceon.
