- 1 ready-to-play deck of 51 cards
- 1 set of energy markers
- 1 playmat with rulebook
- 1 bonus pack
- 1 promo code for the digital version
The Evolve mechanic
This deck revolves around the keyword Evolve. Once your leader has awakened, once per turn you may return two energy to active if you have at least three rested energy and play an Evolve card with 20,000 to 30,000 power. In practice, that means your heavier cards effectively cost you less tempo.
What sets an EX deck apart
EX Starter Decks sit alongside the regular starter decks and are built for players who want a strong starting point right away. Set code FS11, released on March 13, 2026.
Released at the same time was Starter Deck EX: The Beat of Ki (FS12), with a different Son Goku and a completely different mechanic.
