The new Ki mechanic
This deck introduces Ki. When your life drops to four or lower, you gain a Ki marker. Once your leader has awakened, you spend those markers during battle to combine battle cards with the Planet Namek trait from your drop area — as many cards as the Ki you've spent. The deck actually gets stronger the further behind you are.
What sets an EX deck apart
EX Starter Decks are the heavier-hitting counterpart to the regular starter decks. Set code FS12, released on March 13, 2026.
