How Star Wars Unlimited works
You play with a leader and a base, and you win by destroying your opponent's base. There are no resource cards: you pay by placing cards from your hand face down. So every card is either something to play or something to pay with — never both.
On top of that, battles take place in two arenas at once: on the ground and in space. Units in one arena cannot do anything in the other, so you split your attention across two fronts, both of which you can lose.
What Jump to Lightspeed is about
The game's fourth set puts the emphasis on the space arena: ships, fleets and battles above the atmosphere, with characters from multiple eras of Star Wars side by side.
