What sleeves are for
Sleeves keep dirt, grease, and moisture off your cards and make shuffling a lot smoother. At a tournament, every sleeve in your deck must be identical and undamaged, because a scratch or crease makes a card recognizable from the back — and that counts as cheating, even if it isn't meant that way.
About this evolution line
Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir all appear here: the complete line from small and shy to fully grown. Ralts senses people's moods and hides when they're gloomy; Gardevoir, according to the stories, will risk its own life for its Trainer. Kirlia can also evolve into Gallade, but only from a male specimen.
Why Japanese packs contain 64
A Japanese pack contains 64 sleeves, not 65. That's because a Japanese deck has 60 cards, leaving exactly four spares for prize cards or replacements. Japanese sleeves are also cut a touch tighter than western ones, which makes them nice as an inner sleeve under a second layer.
