Why 64 and Not 65

Western sleeve packs contain 65, Japanese packs 64 — a difference that simply comes down to habit in the two markets. Either way, a deck holds 60 cards, so you're left with a few spares regardless. Keep in mind that Japanese sleeves are sized for Japanese cards, which are a fraction smaller than Western ones.

What the POKÉMON TRAINERS Series Is

POKÉMON TRAINERS is the Pokémon Center's design series that puts not the Pokémon but the people front and center: each version shows one trainer with the Pokémon they're paired with, in its own artwork that appears nowhere else. For players who feel attached to a character, that's the difference between just any sleeve and that one.

Who Nemona Is

Nemona is your rival in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: student council president, already champion-caliber before the game even starts, and so addicted to battling that she follows you through the entire adventure for just one more fight. She's the rare rival who cheers you on instead of standing in your way. Pawmot is the final form of Pawmi and is one of the few Pokémon able to revive a fainted teammate with chest compressions.

What Sleeves Are For

Sleeves protect your cards from fingerprints, moisture and damaged edges, and they let a deck shuffle more smoothly. At tournaments they're effectively mandatory: every card back in your deck must look identical, so no one can tell which card you're holding from the back.
