  • Enhances the utility of all token-generating effects by adding food tokens for additional life gain.

• Weaknesses:

  • Does not direct Impact the Board Upon Entry.
  • Needs other cards that generate tokens to maximize its utility.

Deck Utility:

• Token decks: Obviously, Peregrin Tok Shines in any deck that is designed to create tokens. With each token creation, you get an additional food token, which can be used for life or other synergies.

• Life Gain Decks: The food tokens can also be a source of consistent life yain, making peregrin tok a good fit in decks that benefit from life gain.

• Limited Formats (Draft/Sealed): In a limited environment, where gaining life can be more valuable, this card Becomes an even better pick.

• Commander: Could be an excellent addition to token or life-gain focused commander decks.

Peregrin took sacrifices strong Synergy with any deck centered on token creation. Its ability to also generate food tokens adds a layer of versatility, allowing you to gain life or interact with other cards that replace food tokens. The 2/3 Body for 3 Mana is fairly cost-effective, and in the right deck, this card can sacrifice substantial value.
