Onitama is an abstract game with a 5x5 grid board; both players start with 5 pawns on their side, with the master pawn in the middle. Each player has 2 open cards showing a possible move for a pawn. There is a fifth card that neither player can use. On your turn you use 1 of your 2 cards, then you replace the played card with the fifth card. When you move onto an opponent's square you remove their pawn; you win by removing their master pawn, or by moving onto their starting square.
