Why 64 and not 65
Western sleeve packs contain 65, Japanese ones 64 — a difference that simply comes down to the habits of the two markets. Either way a deck has 60 cards, so you're left with a few spares regardless. Japanese Pokémon sleeves fit standard-size Pokémon TCG cards (63 × 88 mm), regardless of the card's language.
What makes Premium Gloss different
The Premium Gloss finish has a shiny outer surface, which makes the colors appear deeper. The trade-off: glossy sleeves stick together slightly more when shuffling than matte ones. If you want a deck that shuffles smoothly, a matte or PRO finish is more practical.
About Meowth and Nihil Zero
Meowth is the cat that carries a coin on its forehead and, according to the Pokédex, collects anything that glitters — on a pack with a glossy finish, that's a joke that writes itself. Nihil Zero is the first Japanese set of 2026, released on January 23, centered on Mega Zygarde ex.
What sleeves are for
Sleeves protect your cards from fingerprints, moisture and damaged edges, and they let a deck shuffle more smoothly. At tournaments they're effectively mandatory: every card back in your deck has to look identical, so no one can tell which card you're holding from the back.
