What a deck box is for
A deck of sixty sleeved cards held together with an elastic band is a deck that's sooner or later going to end up on the floor. A deck box keeps it together, protects the edges, and fits in a bag. Japanese deck boxes are more compact than Western ones because they're sized for the slightly smaller Japanese cards — with Western cards in double sleeves, it gets tight.
What Midnight Agent was
A campaign in spy style: the Pokémon as secret agents, with movie-poster-like illustrations. Inteleon, Sylveon, Gengar, and Greninja took part. The line ran only in the Japanese Pokémon Centers and in limited quantities — watches, figures, t-shirts, bags, sleeves, and this box.
The matching sleeves with Inteleon are sold separately alongside it. Other Japanese deck boxes include the one with Iono and the one with Umbreon.
