What a deck box is for
A deck of sixty sleeved cards held together with an elastic band is a deck that's sooner or later going to end up on the floor. A deck box keeps it together, protects the edges, and fits in a bag. Japanese deck boxes are more compact than Western ones because they're sized for the slightly smaller Japanese cards — with Western cards in double sleeves, it gets tight.
Three mythical Pokémon together
What these three have in common is that all three are Mythical: Pokémon you can't simply catch in the games, only obtain through an event. Mew is number 151 and the most famous of them all. Manaphy from Sinnoh is the prince of the sea and the only Pokémon whose egg produces a different species: it hatches into Phione. Diancie from Kalos is a Carbink that transformed, creates diamonds by pressing its hands together, and is a Rock and Fairy type.
The matching sleeves with the same design are also available. Mew also appears on the deck box with Dynamax Mew.
