What a playmat is for
A playmat is a rubber base with a fabric top. It keeps your cards in place, lets you pick them up easily without scraping your nails along the edge, and protects them from moisture and dirt on the table. At tournaments it's practically standard: without a mat, sleeved cards slide all over the place.
The Mega Charizard X ex Ultra-Premium Collection was released on November 14, 2025 and is the most expensive box Pokémon puts out. It contains eighteen booster packs, two foil promo cards (Mega Charizard X ex and Oricorio ex), 65 sleeves, a playmat, a deck box, a metal coin and six damage dice. Four parts of that box are sold separately here; the other three are the 65 sleeves, the metal coin and the dice.
To protect the cards themselves, there are sleeves with Gigantamax Charizard and Reshiram.
