How Jumpstart works
Each pack is a half-deck. Shuffle two together and you have a playable forty-card deck. Which two you grab determines how it plays, so two packs are enough for a game and four give you a whole evening. They can also be mixed with Jumpstart packs from earlier sets.
About Marvel Super Heroes
Marvel Super Heroes released on June 26, 2026 and is the first Magic set where the entire Marvel universe shows up at once: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye against Thanos, Ultron, Loki, and HYDRA. The basic lands are full-art city calm and city chaos lands — the same streets, at peace and in ruins.
If you'd rather have single cards than a half-deck, the Play Booster makes more sense. Ten of these half-decks are included in the Beginner Box.
