The ten half-decks
Two of them are teaching decks — a white deck built around Iron Man and a red deck built around Captain America — that guide you step by step through the rules. The other eight each focus on one color with its own theme: Heroes (white), Artifacts and Card Draw (blue), HYDRA and Villains (black), Young Avengers (red), Counters and Ramp (green).
How to get started
After the two teaching decks, grab two random half-decks, shuffle them together, and you have a complete deck — that's the Jumpstart idea. Every combination plays differently, and since the basic lands are already included, there's nothing else you need to buy.

Marvel Super Heroes launched on June 26, 2026 and is the first Magic set to bring the entire Marvel universe together at once: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye facing off against Thanos, Ultron, Loki and HYDRA.
