What a Starter Kit is for
A Starter Kit contains two ready-to-play decks that play against each other. That's the whole idea: you don't have to build a deck first, and you don't need to know anyone who already has one. You open the box, hand the other person the second deck, and start. It's how Wizards of the Coast brings in new players.
Why FINAL FANTASY
This release belongs to Universes Beyond, the line in which Magic teams up with stories from outside its own universe. The cards play by the normal Magic rules and can be combined with the rest of your collection in every format — so they're not cards for a separate game.
What we haven't confirmed
We haven't been able to verify the exact contents of the two decks in this release, so it's deliberately left out. As soon as we can, it'll be added.
