Description
The Scene Box "Children of Fate" from Magic: The Gathering – FINAL FANTASY: six foil cards that together form one scene from FINAL FANTASY VIII, plus three booster packs.
What's in the box
- 6 traditional foil borderless scene cards that together form one continuous artwork
- 6 art cards with that same image, without game text
- 3 Magic – FINAL FANTASY Play Boosters of 14 cards each
- 1 cardboard stand for displaying the six cards side by side
How a Scene Box works
The six foil cards aren't separate pictures: place them side by side in the right order and the images flow into each other, forming one wide scene. That's what the included stand is for. The six art cards show the same images without game text, so you can display the scene and still play the foils in a deck.
The scene: Squall versus Seifer
The duel on the training grounds that opens FINAL FANTASY VIII, between Squall and Seifer. It's the fight that leaves them both with a scar across the face — the image that keeps coming back throughout the rest of the game.
Ready-to-play decks from this collaboration are Limit Break and Revival Trance. The other Scene Boxes are Garland at the Chaos Shrine and Camp Comrades.
