• Counter Target Artifact or Creature Spell: Hurl Into History Allows you to counter a Target Artifact or Creature Spell, prevention it from Resolving and Entering the Battlefield.

• Discover X, Where X Is That Spell's Mana Value: After countering the target spell, you get to discover x, where x is the mana value of the countered spell. To do this, you exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with that mana value or less. You then the option to cast that discovered card without paying its mana cost or put it into your hand. The Remoining Exiled Cards are placed on the bottom of your library in a random order.

• Hurl Into History Has Two Main Abilities: Countertering a Target Artifact or Creature Spell and Discovering A Card From Your Library Based on the Countered Spell's Mana Value.

• The Discovery Mechanic Involves Exiling Cards From the Top of Your Library Until You Find A Nonland Card With The Same Mana Value As The Countered Spell. You can be choose to cast that card for free or put it into your hand, with the rest of the exiled cards shuffled to the bottom of your library.
