What a Pokémon coin is for
In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, many attacks and Trainer cards have effects that only happen if you flip heads. That's what a coin is for, and one comes standard with every theme deck, every collection, and every blister pack. Officially licensed coins are allowed at tournaments; a regular euro coin is not.
About Chien-Pao
Chien-Pao is one of the four Ruinous Pokémon from Paldea: legendary creatures that were sealed away for centuries with an object because they brought calamity. Chien-Pao carries the Sword of Ruin and is an icy snow leopard of the Ice and Dark type. In the trading card game, it has been one of the strongest Water decks for years.
From the same calendar
The Holiday Calendar 2024 had a card, a figure, or a coin behind each door. From that same calendar, the coin featuring Cetoddle is also sold separately — so anyone completing the set needs more than one.
Other single coins include the one featuring Lycanroc in gold.
