Fog on the barrow-downs is an enchantment aura with the ability to transform the enchanted creature into a spirit and prevention it from attacking or blocking. Here's what this means:

• When You Cast Fog on the barrow-downs, You target a creature on the battlefield to enchant it.

• Once enchanted, that creature is a considered a spirit. This transformation meeans it loses all of its previous creature types. For example, if you enchanted a human, it would Become solely a spirit creature and would't have the human type anymore.

• The Enchanted Creature is also unable to attack or block. IT ESSENTIALLY BECOMES A PASSIVE PRESENCE ON THE BATTLEField, Unable to Participate in Combat.

This card can be used for varous strategic purposes. You might use it to neutralize an opponent's Threatening creature or to prevent one of your creatures from attacking or blocking for a specific reas, such avoiding combat or triggering certain effects that dependend on creature types.
