Build Your Own Factory: A Strategic Management Game

Dive into the world of industrial management with "Build Your Own Factory", specially designed for the HET Instrument 2010 trade fair. This game challenges players to transform an outdated factory into a profitable business as factory managers.
Your Mission:
Automate and optimize processes for better quality and efficiency.
Reduce costs and improve health, safety and environment (HSE) standards.
Trade smartly in raw materials and products to help your company flourish.
Gameplay:
Players take on the role of experienced plant managers, hired to modernize a factory using products and services from FHI members. Buy raw materials, process them, and sell the finished products on the market. Each round, players choose actions by placing their pieces on action spaces, including:
Playing Event cards
Buying raw materials
Taking improvement cards
Obtaining the HSE bonus
Selling goods
Paying operating costs, maintenance and taxes
After five years, the managers are assessed on their performance. The factory with the highest value and the most capital wins.
