The Origin Starter Deck of Kaela al Shamal is the orange deck of Bluthelden. She is the shaman queen of Glimmervale and plays with incantations: effects that steer the course of a fight instead of winning it head-on.

What is Bluthelden?

Bluthelden is a tactical card game set in the world of Leros. The first edition is called Origin and has 270 different cards. The big difference from most card games: you play with two piles — one for your resources and one for your spells. So there's no waiting around for the right mana to finally show up.

Initiative decides the order

The game plays out in rounds. In the combat phase, players act simultaneously or react to each other, in the order determined by your heroes' initiative value. Your play area consists of a protection zone where you build up and a combat zone split into three sections; where you place a hero determines what happens to them that turn.

Who this deck is for

Orange is the deck for players who'd rather change the rules of the fight than throw their strongest hero into it. If you love playing with initiative and order, this is where you'll go furthest.
