The Origin Starter Deck of Barabas Ulfaran is the black deck of Bluthelden. Ulfaran is the prince of Nachtheim and commands shadow creatures: darkness, surprise, and creatures that only appear when it's too late.

What is Bluthelden?

Bluthelden is a tactical card game set in the world of Leros. The first edition is called Origin and has 270 different cards. The big difference from most card games: you play with two piles — one for your resources and one for your spells. So there's no waiting around for the right mana to finally show up.

Initiative decides the order

The game plays out in rounds. In the combat phase, players act simultaneously or react to each other, in the order determined by your heroes' initiative value. Your play area consists of a protection zone where you build up and a combat zone split into three sections; where you place a hero determines what happens to them that turn.

Who this deck is for

Black suits players who'd rather open the fight on their own terms than sit through it. With shadow creatures, you flip a combat round on its head right when your opponent thinks they've already won it.
