Why 64 and not 65
Western sleeve packs contain 65, Japanese ones 64 — a difference that simply comes down to convention in the two markets. A deck holds 60 cards either way, so you always have a few spares left over. Do keep in mind that Japanese sleeves are sized for Japanese cards, which are a fraction smaller than western ones.
About Greninja
Greninja is the final evolution of Froakie from the Kalos region: a ninja frog that compresses water into shuriken and hurls them mid-leap. In 2020 it won the worldwide vote for most popular Pokémon of all time — out of all 890 that existed at the time. That explains why a sleeve pack featuring it costs more than most others from the same set.
What sleeves are for
Sleeves protect your cards from fingerprints, moisture and damaged edges, and they make a deck shuffle more smoothly. At tournaments they're effectively mandatory: every card back in your deck must look identical, so no one can tell which card you're holding from the back.
Where it all starts is the coin with Froakie. From the same set there are the sleeves with Lucario and the ones with Darkrai.
