Description
A spindown D20 from Magic: The Gathering – Aether Revolt, in red. A twenty-sided die that helps you keep track of your life total, with the Aether Revolt set symbol on the twenty.
Specifications
- Type: spindown D20, twenty-sided
- Color: red
- Set: Aether Revolt (2017)
- Set symbol on the twenty face
What makes a spindown different
On a regular D20, the numbers are arranged randomly, so that a roll is fair. On a spindown, they're arranged in order instead: 20, 19, 18 and so on, spiraling around the die. That way, you turn to the next number in a single motion — exactly what you want when you're counting down your life total. For rolling random numbers, it's less suitable.
Why a set symbol
These spindowns originally came bundled with the 2017 Aether Revolt products and were never produced separately. So for anyone who collects spindowns per set, this is a permanently fixed lineup.
The same die is also available in green. The matching Aether Revolt Bundle is also available in the shop.
