Why these two Pikachu
Flying Pikachu and Surfing Pikachu aren't ordinary cards: they're two of the most famous promos from the 1990s, handed out at events and now so rare in Japan that they fetch four-figure sums. They were reissued for Pokémon's twenty-fifth anniversary, and this mat brings them together — exactly the two images that hit home for anyone who started back in 1998.
