Eastfarthing Farmer is a Halfling Peasant creature card with a beneficial ability:

• When Eastfarthing Farmer enters the battlefield, create a Food token: When this creature enters the battlefield, you generate a Food token. Food tokens are artifacts that have the ability to gain you life when you sacrifice them.

• When you do, target creature you control gets +1/+1 until end of turn for each Food you control: This part of the ability triggers when you create a Food token with Eastfarthing Farmer's first ability. It allows you to choose a target creature you control, and that creature gets a temporary power and toughness boost equal to the number of Food tokens you currently control. So, the more Food tokens you have, the larger the power and toughness boost will be.
