What sleeves are for
Sleeves keep dirt, grease and moisture off your cards and make shuffling a lot smoother. At a tournament, every sleeve in your deck must be identical and undamaged, because a scratch or crease makes a card recognizable from the back — and that counts as cheating, even if it isn't meant that way.
About this design
Mimikyu hides under a homemade Pikachu costume because it wants people to be just as happy to see it as they are to see Pikachu. What's underneath that costume is never shown in the games — anyone who looks becomes sick with fright. These sleeves show the original and the imitation side by side.
