Why it's so rare
This is not a product that sat on store shelves. The Pokémon Center in Japan sold the case in 2025 in two ways: first through a lottery in April, then through a short order window in May where you could reserve one. Outside those two moments it was never issued, and there's no reprint coming. The recommended retail price in Japan was 14,900 yen.
About The Glory of Team Rocket
The Glory of Team Rocket is the Japanese set in which the notorious crime duo from Kanto makes a comeback — with Rocket's Mewtwo ex at the center and a whole range of cards themed around the organization itself. One of the best-selling Japanese sets of the year, and one of the few where demand was so high that the Pokémon Center resorted to a lottery.
Other Japanese and collector's products in the store include the Mega Latias ex Box and the Mega Kangaskhan ex Box.
