Steelix GL is kaart 51/111 uit Rising Rivals, de tweede set van de Platinum-reeks uit 2009. De GL-achtervoeging staat voor Gym Leader; op de kaart staat dan ook "Gym Leader's Pokémon". Het gaat om de Steelix van gymleider Byron, en de illustratie speelt zich af in zijn gym in Canalave City. Als Pokémon SP is de kaart een basis-Pokémon die niet evolueert. De illustratie is van Hajime Kusajima.
