Status Conditions Markers for the Pokémon Trading Card Game: the individual markers you use to track that a Pokémon is poisoned or burned.
Specifications
- Official Pokémon game material, tournament legal
- Sold separately, without the box they originally came in
What the markers are for
The Pokémon Trading Card Game has five special conditions. You show Asleep, Paralyzed and Confused by turning the card — a quarter turn clockwise, a quarter turn counterclockwise, or fully upside down. That doesn't work for Poisoned and Burned, because those two can apply at the same time. That's what these markers are for: you place them on the card, and at the end of each turn you still know exactly how much damage to remove.
Why you buy them separately
Markers come included in Elite Trainer Boxes and in the Battle Academy, and those are boxes you don't buy for the markers. If you lose one, a whole new box is an expensive fix. Bought separately they cost almost nothing, and they last a lifetime.
There's also a set of status markers from a Scarlet & Violet product. For the coin-flip part of the game you'll also need a coin, for example the one with Fuecoco.
