What a deck box is for
Sooner or later, a deck of sixty sleeved cards held together with an elastic band ends up on the floor. A deck box keeps everything together, protects the edges, and fits in a bag. Japanese deck boxes are more compact than western ones, since they're sized for the slightly smaller Japanese cards — western cards in double sleeves make for a tight fit.
The four of Sinnoh
The Sinnoh region has the most pronounced creation myth in the whole series. Arceus is said to have created the universe and then brought forth three Pokémon to keep it running: Dialga for time, Palkia for space, and Giratina for antimatter — the latter banished to a mirror world for being too violent. All four appear on this box.
From the same set, there are the sleeves with Entei, Raikou, and Suicune and the ones from the Pearl Clan Special Set. From Sinnoh there are also the sleeves with Dawn.
