Why side-loading
With a page you fill from the top, a card slides out as soon as you turn the binder upside down. Side-loading pockets sit close to the top, so that doesn't happen. For a binder you take with you regularly, that's the difference between a tidy collection and loose cards at the bottom of your bag.
Eighteen cards per page
Nine on each side means you fit twice as many cards as in a regular 9-pocket page, at the same binder thickness. For a collection you mainly want to store rather than display, that halves the number of binders you need.
The same pages are available in white and black, and in packs of 50 in blue and red. The matching binder is the Prime Ring Binder.
