What Shimmering Skies is about
Shimmering Skies is the fifth set of Lorcana and takes place above the clouds: characters that fly, hover, or look down from great heights. The set builds on the storyline of Ursula's Return and adds cards that pull the game up into the air instead of across the land.
A note on language
These packs are the German edition. The cards are identical in form and play exactly the same as the English ones, but the names and text are in German. For collectors that's a deliberate choice; for players who need to read the card text at the table, it's good to know before you order.
How Lorcana works
You don't win by defeating your opponent but by being the first to collect 20 lore. Every card in your hand is two things at once: something to play, or something to set aside as ink so you can play something else. A deck may contain only two of the six ink colors, and that's the choice the game revolves around.
Other Lorcana packs in the store: Ursula's Return, Azurite Sea, and Reign of Jafar.
