What the slipcase adds

The binder slides into a separate sleeve. That solves two things: on the shelf, no dust settles on the top edge of the pages, and the cover doesn’t get scratched by the binders next to it. The spine carries the gilded Quandrix symbol, so in a row on the shelf you can see right away which one is which.
