Description
The Pokémon TCG ex Battle Deck with Ampharos ex is a complete deck of 60 cards you can play right away. Ampharos ex is a Lightning-type and a Stage 2 Pokémon: you build up to it, but once it's out it doesn't fall quickly.
What's in the box
- 1 ready-to-play deck of 60 cards with Ampharos ex
- 3 reference cards
- 1 game guide
- 1 playmat for one player
- 1 set of damage counters
- 1 large metal coin
- 1 deck box
- 1 strategy sheet
- 1 code card for Pokémon TCG Live
How the deck plays
The deck leans on Stage 2 Pokémon with plenty of hit points, holding the board while you build up. Watch your basic energy: a number of cards in this deck discard energy to deal extra damage, so what you discard, you can't use again.
Who it's for
A Battle Deck is the usual entry point: cheaper than loose boosters and ready to use straight away against anyone who also has a Battle Deck. With the playmat and damage counters included, you need nothing else at the table.
Another ex Battle Deck in the shop is the one with Tapu Koko ex.
