Description
A collector's box released only in the Simplified Chinese edition of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, starring Charizard. Set code CS0C, released on August 18, 2023.
What's inside?
- 1 Charizard VMAX SAR promo card (080/S-P) — Special Art Rare
- 1 card folder with a Charizard theme
- 1 acrylic display frame with the Charizard symbol
- 3 jumbo booster packs of 25 cards from Vivid Portrayals: Obsidian (CS2a C)
That means 75 cards from the boosters, plus the promo card that you can't get separately anywhere.
Why the Chinese edition is different
The Simplified Chinese version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game follows its own set structure and releases its own products. This box and the SAR promo haven't appeared in any other region. For a collector, that's the whole point: the cards are real, official, and hard to find outside China.
Good to know
The cards in this box are in Chinese. They aren't allowed at official tournaments that follow the English or Japanese card pool — this is primarily a collector's item.
