What sleeves are for
Sleeves keep dirt, grease and moisture off your cards and make shuffling a lot smoother. At a tournament, every sleeve in your deck has to be identical and undamaged, because a scratch or crease makes a card recognizable from the back — and that counts as cheating, even if it wasn't intended.
About this design
Midnight Agent is a Japanese design series in which Pokémon appear as secret agents, in a movie style that fits a spy film better than a card game. Sylveon is the Fairy-type evolution of Eevee, which comes about through friendship rather than a stone — so here it's cast in a role that runs directly counter to that.
Why there are 64 in a Japanese pack
A Japanese pack contains 64 sleeves, not 65. That's because a Japanese deck has 60 cards, leaving exactly four spare for prize cards or replacements. Japanese sleeves are also cut a fraction tighter than Western ones, which makes them nice to use as an inner sleeve under a second layer.
