Who a Starter Set is for
This is the box you start with. The deck is already built and already balanced — you don't have to choose anything, trade anything or buy anything extra. Everything else you need at the table is included: the counters for tracking damage, the markers for sleep and paralysis, a mat with the playing field printed on it and the booklet that explains the rules. Put two of these boxes side by side and two people can start playing against each other right away.
Note: this is the Japanese edition. The cards are in Japanese and the rules are the same as here, but the cards may not be used at official tournaments in Europe.
About Mega Gengar
Gengar is the ghost form that has been part of the card game since 1996 and has remained one of the perennial favorites over the years. In its Mega form it loses its legs and floats, with one eye peering straight through the mask. The deck in this box runs on Darkness energy.
