Description
A Play Booster from Magic: The Gathering – Murders at Karlov Manor, the set in which Ravnica becomes a murder mystery. Each pack contains 14 Magic cards plus a token, art or ad card.
What's in a pack
- 6 or 7 commons
- 3 uncommons
- 1 rare or mythic rare
- 1 wildcard of random rarity, including dual lands
- 1 basic land
- 1 traditional foil card of random rarity
- 1 art card, token or ad card, or a helper punch-out
Why sometimes six commons
In roughly one in eight packs, a common is replaced by a card from The List or a Special Guest. These are cards from outside the set — reprints and guest appearances — and they're exactly what makes a Play Booster worth opening.
Play Booster instead of Draft and Set
Murders at Karlov Manor was one of the first sets with Play Boosters, which replace the old Draft and Set Boosters. They're suitable both for drafting and for simply cracking open, where before you bought two different packs for that.
Want to experience the whole set as a game? Take a look at the Ravnica Cluedo Edition. For your cards there's the Alcove Edge deck box with the set symbol.
