The Foundations Beginner Box is the box Wizards of the Coast uses to teach two people Magic at the same time. No loose cards to sort through yourself: ten pre-sorted Jumpstart packs of 20 cards that you combine two at a time into a deck.

Two packs make a deck
Each pack is 20 cards built around one theme. Shuffle two together and you have a deck of 40 cards — ready to play, no deckbuilding needed. With ten packs there are dozens of combinations, so you won't play the same game twice.
The first five turns are walked through for you
Two of the ten packs (Cats and Vampires) are pre-shuffled as a teaching deck: you play the first five turns exactly as the booklet says, and only take over yourself after that. That's why this box works for someone who has never seen Magic before.
What's not in the box
No booster packs and no code for MTG Arena. This box is about learning to play at the table, with two people.
